Accessibility
What opsform.co.uk aims to do for people using keyboards, screen readers and smaller screens, and how to tell us if something gets in the way.
OpsForm is a private business, not a public sector body. The public sector accessibility regulations do not apply to this marketing site. The Equality Act 2010 can still apply to the way we provide services. This page is not a certificate of conformance, and it is not legal advice.
1. What we aim for
We want opsform.co.uk to be readable and usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, and a phone, as well as on a large screen. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA as a design target. We have not commissioned an independent audit, so we do not claim that every page meets AA.
2. Measures in place
- A skip link to the main content, and one main heading on each page.
- The mobile navigation can be opened, closed, and dismissed with the Escape key or by moving outside it.
- The project planner’s questions have visible labels. The contact page asks you to email hello@opsform.co.uk and does not use a form.
- Buttons and links are named so their purpose is clear.
- The colour scheme is dark with a purple accent. Text is intended to stay readable against those backgrounds.
- Pages reflow for narrower screens. Pricing tables that are wider than the screen can be scrolled inside their own area.
- Decorative motion is reduced when the device asks for reduced motion.
- Portfolio screenshots include text alternatives. They are examples of software, with sample data, not the only way to read the case study.
- The site is served over HTTPS.
3. Known limits
- We have not published an audited WCAG report.
- Some screenshots are detailed images. The surrounding text explains the workflow; the image itself cannot convey every label inside the product.
- The project planner’s result is written into the page after you submit it. It should be available to assistive technology as ordinary HTML. If it is not announced clearly, please tell us.
- Legal tables scroll sideways on a small screen so the columns stay intact. The region is labelled so it can be focused and scrolled.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If you cannot use part of the site, email hello@opsform.co.uk with the subject “Accessibility”. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology if you know it. We will reply and, where we can, fix or provide the information another way.
This contact is for access barriers on the OpsForm website. It is separate from a data protection complaint.
5. Further help
If you think we have failed to make a reasonable adjustment for a disability, you can contact us first. Independent information about the Equality Act 2010 is published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission at equalityhumanrights.com, and the Equality Advisory and Support Service can be contacted via equalityadvisoryservice.com.
